CNET Founder Halsey Minor’s Voxelus Threatens to Sue Crypto 2.0 Startup CoinDaddy
Virtual reality and 3D design content creation platform developed by technology entrepreneur and the founder of a prominent news network CNET Halsey Minor has become involved in a legal dispute with “Crypto 2.0” startup CoinDaddy, over the rights to the name Voxels and its logo.
On October 16, Voxelus initiated a crowdsale of its in-game currency or “tokens” called Voxel, to allow its users to purchase VR assets, animations and alternative purchases on the platform with its own cryptocurrency.
According to the Voxelus team including Minor, Martin Repetto and Maximo Radice, CoinDaddy has used its logo and the name of their coin without the permission of the team ever since.
