CoinDesk Acquires Lawnmower | We are thrilled to announce that CoinDesk has acquired Lawnmower, the blockchain data & market research platform. This acquisition is the first that CoinDesk has made and allows us to focus on key initiatives we have planned going into 2017.
When we met the team on one of our CoinDesk "Mandatory Fun" happy hours, we all immediately clicked. And they have been working with us tirelessly over the past couple of months on our Construct conference and site redesign, which we expect to launch in April.

However, here are a few things to summarize: - The entire Lawnmower team is joining CoinDesk team as research analysts and engineers.
- We are going to be rolling out CoinDesk v2.0 in the next couple of months, which will include more price indices and other rich data.
- We'll be launching additional newsletters around important topics in the space, with a digital currency specific one coming soon.
- Our research product will become a full-fledged subscription product with far more analysis and data about blockchain use cases & digital currency investments. Expect that in Q3.
