The much hyped launch of the long-secretive Enterprise Ethereum Alliance is happening today.

For those who haven't been following, the association brings together Microsoft, JP Morgan, Intel, Accenture, Banco Santander (as we reported) and many others in a non-profit organization that aims to develop ethereum into an enterprise grade blockchain.

CoinDesk will be there to give you all the details, but for now, check out our interview with founder Jeremy Millar on the structure of the alliance, and its main objectives.

The launch today is likely to highlight the increased interest from businesses in blockchain applications, and it could even springboard a new phase of investigation into possible links between private and public platforms.
