A Public-Private Ethereum? It Won't Be As Easy As It Sounds


Details are emerging about a possible road map for Enterprise Ethereum, the alliance of large enterprises and startups focused on developing private applications on ethereum.
 
A newly released paper outlines a variety of technical goals for the group over the next year, including how to make private ethereum implementations compatible with the public network.
 
However, CoinDesk spoke to some participants that believe that work on compatibility should wait until after the tools for private development have been defined.
